What to Expect at Your First C.A.L.M. Method Retreat
You've heard about it. Maybe you've been thinking about it for weeks. And now you're wondering: what actually happens at a C.A.L.M. Method retreat?
That's a fair question — and a great one. Because this isn't a typical wellness weekend. Spring into Your C.A.L.M. is the first-ever C.A.L.M. Destination Experience Retreat, and it was designed with intention from the ground up. Here's what you can expect when you arrive in Tyler, TX on April 16th.
The Setting: Tyler, TX in April
There's something about East Texas in the spring that feels like a reset button. The air is warm but not yet heavy. The landscape is green and alive. And Tyler — the Rose Capital of America — has a quiet, grounded energy that makes it the perfect backdrop for the kind of inner work we'll be doing together.
You're not flying to a resort or checking into a conference hotel. You're arriving at a destination that was chosen because it feels like the C.A.L.M. Method — intentional, rooted, and full of possibility.
Day One: Arrive and Settle In
The retreat begins on the evening of April 16th. This first evening is about arrival — not just physically, but mentally and emotionally.
You'll meet your fellow retreat participants, get oriented to the space and the schedule, and begin the process of leaving the noise of your everyday life behind. Expect a welcome session that sets the tone for the weekend: warm, grounded, and honest.
This is where you'll start to understand that everyone in the room is here for the same reason you are. That shared intention is one of the most powerful things about a retreat experience.
Day Two: The Deep Work
Day two is the heart of the retreat. This is where the C.A.L.M. Method comes alive in a way that's hard to replicate in a course or a coaching session.
You'll move through the framework in real time — not just learning it intellectually, but experiencing it. Facilitated workshops, guided reflection, and community conversation will take you deeper into each pillar of C.A.L.M. than you've likely gone before.
What the C.A.L.M. Framework Looks Like in Practice
The C.A.L.M. Method isn't a set of rules or a rigid system. It's a way of moving through the world — and a retreat is one of the best environments to practice it. Over the course of the day, you'll:
- Identify the patterns that are keeping you in chaos
- Develop clarity around what you actually want and need
- Build practical tools you can use the moment you get home
- Connect with others who are doing the same work
There will be moments of insight. There will be moments of discomfort. Both are part of the process — and both are held with care.
Day Three: Integration and Closing
The final day of the retreat is about integration. You've done the work. Now it's time to make it stick.
Morning sessions focus on bringing everything together — synthesizing your insights, clarifying your intentions, and creating a concrete plan for what comes next. The retreat closes with a ceremony that honors the work you've done and the community you've built over the weekend.
You won't leave with a stack of handouts and a vague sense that something happened. You'll leave with clarity, tools, and a community of people who are walking the same path.
Who Will Be in the Room
One of the things that makes this retreat special is the diversity of the people attending. You'll share space with:
- Wellness seekers who are new to the C.A.L.M. Method and ready to experience it fully
- Coaches, therapists, and practitioners looking for deeper tools to bring to their clients
- Founders and leaders who are craving clarity and a genuine reset
- Current TCMI students who want to go deeper into the framework
- Alumni who are ready to reconnect with the community and their practice
That mix of perspectives and experiences creates something you can't manufacture in a virtual setting. It's one of the reasons we've been so intentional about keeping the group intimate.
The Three Packages: Which One Is Right for You?
Spring into Your C.A.L.M. offers three retreat packages, each designed for a different level of immersion.
Standard — $250
Full retreat access for all three days. Every session, every workshop, every moment of community. This is the complete retreat experience.
Premium — $297
Everything in Standard, plus small-group breakout sessions, priority seating, and an exclusive resource bundle to take home.
VIP — $425
The full C.A.L.M. destination experience. Everything in Premium, plus a private 1:1 session and a VIP welcome gift. If you want to go as deep as possible, this is your package.
All three packages include the full retreat experience. The difference is in the depth of access and the additional touchpoints you receive.
What to Bring (and What to Leave Behind)
Pack light. Bring comfortable clothes, a journal, and an open mind. Leave your laptop, your to-do list, and your expectations at home.
The most important thing you can bring to this retreat is a genuine willingness to show up — for yourself, for the work, and for the people in the room with you.
A Note on Seats
This is our first-ever destination retreat, and we've kept the group intentionally small. That intimacy is part of what makes the experience what it is — but it also means seats are limited.
If you've been thinking about coming, now is the time to stop thinking and start packing.
